Synopsis
Léna, a former French journalist traumatized by the loss of her team on her last assignment, sets off to rebuild her life in northern Thailand. She volunteers at an elephant sanctuary run by Erika, a French woman who has been living in Asia for seven years. There she meets Tangwa, a little Burmese girl who takes a liking to her and teaches her to let go again. But nothing goes according to plan, and Léna’s demons resurface, involving her in illicit trafficking. Léna has no choice but to fight for what she believes is right, to the detriment of her own safety and that of those around her.
